Luke 2: 41-50 & John 7: 37-39
As we look forward to the summer holidays, what does God have to say about holidays?

Jewish Holy Days were rarely solemn affairs - more like joyful chaos as everyone descended on Jerusalem to celebrate and feast and renew old friendships.

The God who ordained these times of celebration (and participated in them in Jesus) still wants to bring refreshment and renewal to us: “If anyone is thirsty let them come to me and drink...” - especially over this holiday period.
