Sunday school

Unsurprisingly perhaps Sunday School takes place on a Sunday!  An integral part of our work with young people, Sunday School takes place each week during the Sunday morning service.  Starting around 11am, our Sunday School runs until just after midday and uses the large Sports Hall and a variety of classrooms in NMBC.

The roll is around 70, aged between three and eleven, with a move to secondary school seeing a young person “graduate” from Sunday School to Bible Class.

Our Sunday School programme is varied but centres on telling and showing our children who Jesus is, what his message of Good News is and how they can respond to it and live for him in today’s world.  How we try and do this is as varied as you can imagine: from Bible stories and singing, through drama and crafts to fun days, parties and film shows.
